Leaky or damaged sewage pipes can cause structural damage and have ecological consequences. In Obertshausen, we also primarily use trenchless rehabilitation methods to repair pipe damage sustainably – without open construction work or earthworks.

The rehabilitation is carried out inside the pipe using so-called short liners or inliners. Both methods enable selective or sectional rehabilitation of defective pipes. They are particularly suitable for misalignments, cracks, or other local damage. We mainly use the short liner technique, as usually only individual areas of damage are affected.

This is how pipe rehabilitation works!

Modern pipe renovation for your wastewater system – fast, trenchless and efficient.

Our specialist technicians first inspect the damaged pipes with a high-tech pipe camera to determine the exact nature and extent of the damage. We then rehabilitate the pipes from the inside, for example using the inliner method or the partial use of short liners.
Without digging and large construction sites, we restore the tightness and function of your wastewater pipes in the long term – cleanly, precisely and in accordance with standards.

This is how we secure your pipe systems for the future – economically and environmentally friendly!

Trenchless pipe rehabilitation with short liners – procedure and process

Before installing a short liner, the affected pipe is thoroughly cleaned. This serves to prepare the inner wall of the pipe and ensures good adhesion of the material. A resin-impregnated fiberglass mat is then applied to an installation device (packer) and positioned at the damaged area. After curing, the resin and mat form a new, dense inner skin – the drain pipe is functional again without having to be completely replaced.

Advantages of short liner rehabilitation:

No civil engineering work required
Can be carried out quickly – often within a single working day
Reduced use of materials and personnel
Minimal disruption to traffic and green spaces
Permanent sealing thanks to hardened resin compound

Questions and answers

Do you still have questions
about Pipe Rehabilitation in Obertshausen?

How long does a trenchless pipe renovation in Obertshausen take?
The duration of the repair depends on the extent of the damage and the method chosen. Minor damage that is repaired using the short liner method can often be rehabilitated within a few hours. Larger renovations using the inliner method usually take one to two days, depending on the length of the pipe sections to be rehabilitated. A major advantage of trenchless methods is that they are completed much more quickly than conventional pipe renewals involving excavation work, which can take several weeks.
Is trenchless pipe rehabilitation suitable for all pipe types?
The inliner and short liner methods can be used for most wastewater pipes, including plastic, concrete, vitrified clay and cast iron pipes. The decisive factor is that the pipe still has sufficient structural stability. In cases where the pipe is already severely deformed or collapsed, conventional pipe replacement may be necessary. A prior camera inspection helps to determine the appropriate repair method.
Can trenchless pipe rehabilitation also be used for private house connections?
Yes, short liner and inliner technology in particular are ideal for renovating private house connections. Many older buildings still have clay or cast iron wastewater pipes that develop cracks or leaks over time. Trenchless renovation offers a quick, clean and cost-effective solution to permanently repair the pipes.
